Hi everyone,
We moved in yesterday, and are trying to help Sara with all of their stuff (Niklas is in Melbourne). It is even better than we remembered, with brand new fixtures in our own bathroom, tons of lights, fresh paint, and period doorknobs and cornicing. In short, it is absolutely beautiful. Niklas's parents brought us dinner last night (a delicious lentil and feta curry with bread, cheese, and apples) and we drank wine and got to know them. Everyone was very nice, and it was the closest thing we had to a family meal in several weeks.
Today we were hoping to go shopping for house things, but Salvation Army is closed. We're just going to have some lunch and then return to Island Bay to help Sara unpack.
Just wanted to check in, as we don't have internet yet. Miss everyone, and will post pictures soon!
